Are you waiting for something to change before you allow yourself to fully enjoy your life?
Maybe you’re waiting for an answered prayer, a business breakthrough, better health, a relationship to improve, a goal to be reached—or simply for life to settle down.
But what happens to TODAY while we’re waiting for tomorrow?
In this Gratitude Girls Coaching & Training, Laurie Delk Radecki and Kathryn “RaRa” Asaro Mayers talk about learning to practice gratitude in the middle of the story—before everything works out exactly as we hoped.
💜 In this conversation, we talk about:
- Why we unintentionally postpone happiness and gratitude
- How to stop missing the blessings in the “middle”
- Why wanting more and appreciating what you have can coexist
- Finding small moments of joy in an imperfect season
- Changing the question from “What am I waiting for?” to “What do I already have?”
- Biblical encouragement for giving thanks in every season
- A simple Gratitude Challenge you can practice this week
Laurie shares 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV):
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
And Psalm 118:24 (KJV):
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Gratitude doesn’t mean you stop dreaming.
It doesn’t mean you stop praying.
And it doesn’t mean you pretend difficult circumstances aren’t difficult.
It means you don’t allow what you’re still waiting for to make you overlook what you’ve already been given. ❤️
💜 YOUR GRATITUDE CHALLENGE:
Finish this sentence:
“While I’m waiting for _, I’m grateful for _.”
Share yours in the comments! We’d love to hear it and encourage one another.
