Training
Things you can do to increase visibility to your brand as an entrepreneur
Hey, everyone! We are the gratitude, girls.
the gratitude! Girls are in the house. Hi, Laurie! How are you? I’m fantastic. I love the conversations that we have just before we go live
tonight, we’re here to share a gratitude, girls, free coaching and training. And the topic
I’m gonna have Laurie read you the topic. So I don’t say it backwards. Things you can do to increase your brand visibility as an entrepreneur.
sorry things you can do to increase visibility to your brand as an entrepreneur. Yeah, okay, perfect. Right. Rose by Rose is any, isn’t any other name. So we’re going to talk to you about. If you’re an entrepreneur, stay on this video.
If you’re new to entrepreneurship, stay on this video. If you’re seasoned, stay on this video. So we’re gonna talk to you about what do you do? How could you do it? We’ll share with you what we do. We will not disclose any of our clients
structures, but we’ll share our structure and we can teach and train on this. So we’ll start with
gratitude, girls, it’s a brand. You know it.
You know what we do, and if you don’t, you have a vision when you see the name gratitude, girls, so that’s one aspect. Have a name that reflects
who you are.
We are
gratitude, girls. We have a story in how we came together. So step one is, have a brand that brings some vision
to the eye of the potential client, customer and audience.
So we’ve done a really good job at that.
not to mention 1314 years.
Oh, ho! However many years I’m I’m 14 years with sendo cards. So when we met, I’ve been working on this with Lori, and it came very naturally. But we’ve been holding that brand we’ve never rebranded. So we’ve stayed with the original brand, which is important. So we haven’t confused our audience.
So after we made sure that that brand was clear. Well, Lori, let’s list a few things that we did. We had. We created a show.
Yeah, we’ve had a show once a month for all these years as well as we’ve created a coaching company and training, and we’ve been doing these free coaching and trainings. We’ve got
thousands of these in our database. That our members get access to, and then we also have one on one private coaching.
let’s see, what else do we have? We have a book. We have group coaching calls. So we have the brand. We have private coaching. We have shows private coaching group coaching.
so you can sort of get into us like that. Then we have a book. Okay.
Then we went into networking.
So we have launching in September our networking group, which is separate from our coaching group.
and as an entrepreneur you can do something and take a really big step. It might be big if you’re new to entrepreneurship is go ahead and develop your strategy for retreats.
So if you think about that and you follow us, you say, Well, what do you do as gratitude, girls. you want your brand to tell its own story.
You know, when you hear us, we’re gonna talk to you about writing in your gratitude. Journal 5 things every single day in detail and read it to yourself
and read it in the morning. We’re gonna say that with with our eyes closed.
you’re going to be able to repeat that. So we have our clear messaging.
When your audience is not confused they will make a decision.
Our message is to write in your Gratitude journal every day. So we have a call to action.
We’d like you to write in our gratitude. Journal.
If you don’t have it, you can go to Amazon. Ca, Amazon, com. We’ll drop the link below this video and you can get as many as you’d like.
You can buy 3,
or because they’re 100 days each. So if you want to use it for the entire year, you can buy 4 of them, and then you can use our gratitude. Girls journal every single day, and if you want to do it 100 days at a time, then that’s perfect.
You can do that as a gratitude sort of warm up. Think about it. When you go to the gym, you do a warm up, you do your sets, you do, Cardio. You do your cool down, you could do the same thing. You can get started for 100 days. So as an entrepreneur, you can develop these call to actions.
So if you buy our book once, you may want to buy it again and again and again. To continue. We thought about that strategy.
because if you had 365 days, and you didn’t complete it. You wouldn’t feel complete. You know the reason why we make our bed in the morning. It’s so you can complete something and feel like you’ve done that. So once you write a hundred days in your gratitude journal, you feel complete. You want to do it again.
So, Laurie, what are some of the strategies behind? Let’s say our networking cause, someone might say, how am I going to start a networking group? You know that’s not easy to do.
Right? Yeah, it’s not easy to do where I should say it is easy to do. It’s very easy to do. The thing is is, if you have the stability and the consistency and the dedication to stick to it
right? And so it’s very easy to do. But you have to figure it out, and you have to be consistent. You have to stick with it just like I ran networking luncheons here in the Middle Tennessee area
every Thursday and Friday for 16 years.
I had. People would always ask me, How do you have 30 to 50 people at every event.
and you’re in 7 different cities every month. all over Middle Tennessee. And I was like, because I’ve been consistent with it. It wasn’t 30 to 50 people at every event
back when I first started it
right. But I was consistent. I consistently did it. I could. I was dedicated to it. I was dedicated to the marketing and the promotions for it.
I was dedicated to being a leader for it, and stepping up, I was dedicated to finding speakers, and I was consistent, and I was consistent with my follow up.
You have to do all those things.
you know, Laurie, you said something so important in the beginning, so I can relate this to going to the gym. I used to own a private gym in my psychology practice.
You go to the gym, and you’re like I’m gonna get started. Hmm, maybe you get a little tired, maybe even feel a little nauseous. Maybe you even have to stop.
And then you go back and you say, Okay, I’m gonna do it. And you get a little bit further, and then you get to where you want. You say that’s not enough without the consistency, and then you might have a setback.
Could you go back
without the consistency? You won’t get to see momentum, Laurie just described momentum
so visibility for your brand. It’s not. I wake up and I’m gonna work on it today for 8 h, and then I’ll I’ll do it again in 3 weeks.
Consistency is every single.
Let’s say day I’m gonna scare you a little bit right every day you work on your body, your mind, your food.
your your spirit, and you work on your business.
and if you say it’s 40’clock, and gee! I didn’t get to work on my business yet. Well, that’s not developing momentum. You create a schedule. You know what you’re gonna do. We could tell you what we do on Mondays.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, at 12. We could tell you when our retreat is. We could tell you when our networking is, when our private clients are, when our group clients are, we have it in the schedule. We have things set for our next retreat next year, 2024. We know where it’s going to be. We have everything written out.
so we work on it.
Everything we do takes us closer to the goal of bringing our client, you, if you’re not our client yet closer to your goal.
So if you put it in your agenda, and you do that every day. Imagine doing laundry once a week.
I don’t know. You may right out of close. It’s possible you can do it. There’s nothing wrong with that.
I can’t do laundry once a week I work out 7 to 10 HA week. I don’t have
12 different tops, you know, might just have like 8. So I have to do my large. So if you think about the consistency that you put into something, you’ll see what comes out of it. So, Laurie, that’s amazing. I applaud you for having 30 to 50 people at your networking group. So when you join our networking group, if you say how big or how small is it we’re launching in September.
you know. Come in and be one of the founding, networking members with us, because we’ll always remember that, you know. Jump in when somebody starts something, and that way you can learn. If you want to learn how to develop a networking group. Start with us in September. We’ll drop the link below this video so you can see what that’s like. You can watch us start something new, and you can watch what we’ve done. Season for over a decade.
Right? Yeah. And everything. When you start it new, you might
start out slow. You never know. You might go out with gangbusters starting out, too. So, but the thing is, that’s it. You see the process, and you’ll see the process that we do building that. And if you want to do that, you’ll you can build right along with us. And the same thing for all the things that we’ve done.
We the thing is, we started them just like our monthly talks.
We started them over a decade ago. and we’ve done them every single month of every single year since then.
How many people do that? Right?
But that’s focus, that’s determination that is consistent, that is, working together. Cause, of course, 2 people always have 2 different things right? Just like in a marriage, just like in a business arrangement. Right? A business partnership.
There’s always give and take. There’s always.
you know, but just like in a marriage, it’s like Katherine completes me. I know I complete her in different ways, right. We are both so good in so many different ways. And that’s the same thing like these trainings, just like our speaking engagements that companies hire us for right. We you want an amazing
speaker at one of your company events having 2 girls that can ping off each other so well.
and when you’re you have full gratitude
in your company.
How much better is that company gonna go?
That’s that’s a really great point, because there’s a lot to say for technology, and there’s a lot to say for the structure. But when you work right from here, you know, you work from your solar plexus, and you have gratitude, and you bring that to your employees, to your structure, to Hr. To your coworkers when they know that’s where your heart is. You probably will find that you’ll get more from people when they’re
really their heart is in it when they’re really doing it, because they want to, not just because they’re getting paid for it, and gratitude starts like probably right up here and goes here, and then it comes out. So if you’re thinking about how you can increase your visibility of your brand, the visibility of your brand as an entrepreneur. We’ve listed about 7 to 10 things here. We’ll be happy to go over it with you again. If you’d like, you can hop into our networking. You can book a try me on the size.
Call with us so you can go right on. Step in all the way up to your eyeballs, and one on one coaching with us, and we’ll share it with you. So if you have any questions. If you want to look at our book, if you want to go and check something out with us.
you can talk with us. We’re we’re easily accessible. Just send us a message.
Yes, absolutely. Go to facebook.com slash gratitude, girls, you can click to send us a message there, make sure you like, and follow and share our page.
and also find us at gratitude. Girlscom, you can find out about our coaching and our retreats, and our speaking engagements and all that other stuff there as well, and we will see you next week.
If you’re in Canada on September ninth, let us know we could send you an invite to our retreat.
Yes, absolutely. Come, network with us and
spend our retreat with us. September ninth. Niagara, on the lake. I am flying to Canada just for that. So I’d love love, love for you to come. Join us there as well.
Have a great night, everyone, thank you.

Have you ever been ghosted?
Hey, everyone! We are the gratitude, girls.
the gratitude! Girls are in the house. Hi! Laurie! How are you?
Hi, Katherine! I’m wonderful! How are you?
I’m good. I was just thinking, as I was saying, that if we record outside, then could we still say we’re in the house
right?
Well, it’s it’s really fun to be here. I love the topic that we’re talking about right now. It just seems to be one of those topics that sometimes you don’t want to tell anybody that it happens. But then it’s one of the topics that you really have to talk to someone about
the topic tonight that we’re going to train on is, have you ever been ghosted? I’ll introduce myself first for those of you who do not know me or my partner. My name is Kathryn, as Sarah Meyers, affectionately known as Roars in the house. I’m broadcasting to live tonight from lovely Niagara on the Lake Ontario Canada, and I’m here with my amazing partner.
and I am Laurie Delk Radecki, and I am outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
So we are an international call. You can be ghosted from anywhere in the world, you know. Has it happened right? And then I do. You want to tell anyone? Are you sort of afraid to say that someone ghosted you.
So, Lori, has it happened to you what happened to me?
The beauties of being live with technology. See, you can be ghosted for no apparent reason. It can just be technology. It’s not even that somebody intends to. So what happens when you’re ghosted? Right? You’re having sort of a one way conversation.
Maybe you’re not having complete engagement, or you think you are. And then suddenly, that other person goes away.
It’s not like you’re having sort of an argument with one of your children, and then they decide to give you the cold shoulder. We’re not talking about that. Not that our children do that to us. But we’re talking about not a family feud.
not a feud at all, but someone who just suddenly it goes away. And you think, well, gee! They were a perfect prospect. They would just about to make a decision. And suddenly they’re not there.
Sometimes people are shy, sometimes they don’t want to tell you that they’re not interested. So they tell you what they think you want to hear.
and if you don’t take a breath and stop talking and give them a chance to speak. You’re creating the stories of your mind. Right? Lori.
right? Yeah. And yeah, I apologize for my Internet. But it for whatever reason it’s going out and where I’m at. I’m not hardwired, and and I can’t be right now. So but yes, yeah, it’s so. There’s
and there’s there’s a lot of different reasons, and it could be that that like what Katherine said, like, you’re not listening. You’re not giving them a chance to to allow them to explain or tell you the truth.
Or maybe you’re not asking enough questions or the right questions. right? Or you’re just kinda coming at them with that kind of commission breath that you know nobody likes right.
And so like, or if you walk in the store, you know, like the old saying goes, if you’re if you’re walking down the Walmart aisle and somebody else sees you, and they turn the other way. Well, it’s probably because you have that commission breath
right? And so just talk to people like as a person get to know that?
And
it is
It helps people like help guys find their issues and genuinely ask them to help them rather than
okay.
Well, I want to sell you this. So it’s but yet they don’t have any need for any of those benefits.
Right? I I understood every point you made. If anyone’s not sure, because of the Internet connection, just to just call us, we’ll explain it. But I was talking to someone today. And here’s what I was making a reference to. You know, when you water your garden. Sometimes you have automatic irrigation systems, and sometimes you have a good old fashioned hose. So whatever you do, you look at your flowers and you wonder, does that herb need more water. Do those roses need less water, and you go at your
flowers. Imagine that your phone was your hose. and if you went at your friends and prospects with that hose full force, as if you were going to water them because they looked like they needed it.
It might be okay. But if you go at someone with your phone full force, and they’re really not needing it or wanting it. Well, you could, in fact, break the plant or flower. You could damage it. You might be. Maybe you could kill it. I don’t know, but you certainly could get it to not want you to be around it.
so ghosting would be a sense of going at someone if you were going to sprinkle your garden with water, and you hit full force, and you did that with your cell phone. That would be a good reason to have someone ghost you
because you’re not reading them. So if you do garden, it’s a great time of you to do that. If you look at your flowers, if you have a a landscape, or garden, or company, you will make comments about that looks great that could look better. Do that with the people around you. Think of them as beautiful, strong statement.
flowers that are fragile yet strong meeting. You can break people.
you can get them to go away, or you can empower them. It’s really up to you, and if people are ghosting you. You’re probably hosing them down too much.
Great, yeah, and just and always try to think, you know, like they say, you know. treat people the way you want to be treated right. So think about if
the shoe was on the other foot and they were selling that to you.
and how you’re talking to them. Is that the way that you would want to be talked to? Is that the way you prefer someone to sell to you.
or you know. Are you the type like you when you go into a clothing store? You know that, you know, is commission based right?
And you know, so they’re like hounding you, or they say you know all your butt looks so cute in those jeans, you know it doesn’t right, but you know that they’re just trying to make the sale. Then it’s you know, you’re just like, leave me alone. Let me look. I’m just looking right. You just cut them off. I’m just looking.
And so that’s what those people are doing right. They’re ghosting you by their saying
I’m just looking because they can feel that of you, not genuinely caring
right, but that you’re just wanting to make the sale where you can make the sale, and there’s nothing wrong with making a sale and making money and paying your bills off sales of whatever product or services you sell. There’s nothing wrong with that, but the wrong comes in when
that’s all you’re in it, for is that not in it to really, genuinely help them
more, you just made me think about something. If we were golfers, and if we were playing 21 holes, and we got up at
whatever time we get up in the morning. And we get on that golf course. And we decide that we’re gonna build a relationship with the people we’re playing with. And we have 21 holes.
We are not going to push it at whole 1, 2, or 3, because we’ve got all day to do that. So if you think of the long game, think of the long term relationship building. If in the first 10 min you’re telling people you want me to send you information. You’re you’re losing them at hold 2 and 3, and you’ve got 21 to go so pace yourself.
and if you want someone to have information, and they don’t ask you.
there’s boundaries, and there’s permission that we should really be receiving. And when we’re crossing boundaries, because we think it’s a good idea.
Well, if nobody asked us, hey, what do you think? And maybe we should be given our opinion.
Right? Yeah, exactly. And you know, I just thought of something to this person. Messaged me a couple of days ago.
and I’ve known this person for over 20 years.
and I would count them as a friend. But in the last 20 years.
about once a year, maybe once every 2 years, they message me.
and it might say. Hey, how have you been doing?
But within 2 sentences there is a Oh, you need to hear about this new thing that I found.
or some other way of saying, that same thing right
and literally, I mean at least 10 times over the last 20 years I’ve heard it.
and probably more. And but that’s it. But I never hear from them
between those times. right.
unless I initiate it. But if I don’t initiate it when they initiate it. It’s always because they’ve found some new thing. and that’s the only time they
think to contact me.
And that’s why I love campaign cards and sent out cards.
We look like rock stars when we remember people’s birthdays, you know, there’s something to be said for really understanding what people do, and when they’re born, and when they celebrate, if they celebrate birthdays or anniversaries, or congratulations on on your rank advancement, whatever it is, on a baby, your new puppy. If we’re not really talking to people about their life, and we’re only talking to them about the thing that’s attached to a transaction.
You know, it’s not warm. It’s not fuzzy. So I think we’ve made the point. Now let me ask you a question before we go. What do you do?
What’s your behavior when somebody pushes too hard. I have to think about what I do. But I it’s happened right? People have pushed us
right? Yeah, exactly. And and I do. I usually quit replying back. essentially, ghost them right? Because
you might reply back a few times and be nice and sweet, or whatever. But yeah, when they continue pushing.
then it just fine whatever you know or And and it’s funny you said that, too, because the same person like the last comment they said to me when I politely declined them again.
so do you not think that it’s important to have multiple streams of income?
So, anyway? But but yeah, and so you just that’s it. You just find a reason. Either you say something someone might say, end up saying something rude.
or they, you know, they just politely try to step away.
Or, yeah, they just don’t reply anymore. Just flat out, ghost you, because
they don’t have anything nice to say, well, I like what you said. If somebody is pushing me.
really pushing me for something that’s one sided, I will have a conversation. It may be it’s a text conversation. But I would like to have a conversation and ask.
Is it really important for me to answer you right now? And is there anything else to discuss? Because if I give you a no, does that mean that we no longer have a relationship? And I’m willing to put that on the line, because no, I’m not interested.
Now, where does it go from there
and then I see how people feel, because sometimes they’re uncomfortable, like, oh, well, if you don’t want my candles, and you don’t want me as a friend, and if that’s what they want to think, then you know that’s okay. But I will open the conversation with it with if I tell you exactly how I feel, what happens, and if they don’t look like they’re negotiable because they’re just not that kind of person.
you know. I will ghost them.
I will, because I just really don’t want to get into a moral ethical issue about my integrity. Because I’m not interested in that thing.
Right? Yeah. And we don’t have to be interested in everything that somebody sells right.
And the same thing, not. Everyone’s interested in what we sell, and with the but on that same note.
if we just keep the relationship
and build on the friendship, whether they ever become interested, which they might one day down the road. There things in their life changes and they become interested.
or
they refer other people because they know other people right. But that’s because we didn’t burn that bridge. And because we genuinely cared about the relationship. And we built the relationship with the person
right. I love that what you just said, and I hope that our audience really grasp that part, you know, stop at this point in the video and replay it, because if you’re there for someone, and their situation changes and their circumstances change, they’ll remember that you were there for them, and they’ll come back.
and they might, in fact, want to know more. They might be ready, or they might know someone else who really appreciates the fact that you didn’t push. So be kind like Lori said. My mom used to tell me this, you know. Treat others as you would like others
to treat you
so. Think about that I think Lori has a little Internet glitch right now, being hardwired is really important. So when you’re not in your own Wi-fi, this this goes on, we get it, I got you back. So if you’re thinking about this, who ghost did you? Who did you ghost?
You know there are ways to make amends to.
You can always revisit that. You can always go back in and knock on the door and take the temperature, and we can talk more about that follow up after being ghosted. So maybe we can do that at our next training. Lori, if you have anything else to say. I love what you said tonight. And I, you know, I’m going to take notes and watch this again.
Yeah, absolutely. And if you have any comments, post them below this video right here, make sure to rate us, review us.

Where is your focus?
Hey, everyone! We are the gratitude, girls!
Hey, Katherine, how are you?
I’m great. Thank you. As we were just speaking a few minutes ago, before we went live. I’m staring out the window, and I’m looking at nature and a beautiful swimming pool, and I’m looking at how the sunset
and in a room that has a solarium room with a lot of glass and windows, and that will lead us right into our topic tonight. So I’ll introduce myself, and then we’ll dovetail that right into hopefully that intrigued our audience to think about their surroundings. My name is Kathryn, Asaro Meyers, affectionately known as Raa Raa in the house.
There’s a great story behind that, and I’ll tell it another time or again, it’s in a previous coaching and training. But tonight we’re here to provide you with free live coaching and training, and I’m here with my amazing partner.
Laurie Delk Radecki
Yes, and I am in a little town outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
Right tonight I’m in Toronto. I’m in a different surrounding. So we’re actually cat sitting for friends. So I’m not in my usual office. But I’m here looking at what’s surrounding us tonight. We’re going to talk about
what is your focus?
So literally speaking, like, what do you see, when you are speaking to people when you’re in the zoom call, as we’ve been, sometimes we do that because we’re global businesses. So what are we looking at right above our camera, right above and beyond. And what’s in our peripheral, what’s behind us? And does that really affect
what we’re doing in terms of our achievements, our productivity. So I’m looking at nature. I’m looking at the sun setting, and it’s very bright.
I prefer to look at darkness. I prefer candlelight.
dim lights. All these bright lights are very distracting for me. So for me, this is like a shiny penny that makes me keep looking up, and doesn’t allow me to focus. But if you give me a dark room with a fireplace or some dim lights and one light off in the background, I could focus for hours. What about you, Laurie?
I am the exact opposite on that. And it is so funny because we’re so like on so many levels. But yes, I if I had all that dim stuff I like, you were just talking it, and I can feel myself relaxing. I could just go to sleep.
and so I for me to focus. I have to have the bright light. I have to have bright sunlight. I I love to sit outside or in my office, with
all my lights on, my husband, will tease me, because I’ll have the the ceiling fan light on, and my little led lights in the ceiling. And but I just I do. I like it bright.
right? That’s great to know this about each other right? Like I could go into a studio with lighting. But if I stay there too long I’m going to be out of alignment. I’m going to need to go into a space that gives me what I need to recharge my battery. So if you think about
your home offices, or where you choose to meet people, when when my husband and I go out on the date night. We’ll choose a cozy little Spanish restaurant that’s dark, and we’ll sit in the corner as opposed to a bright restaurant in the window when I want to think and create and we have work to do.
I want to go somewhere where something isn’t going to change my focus. So I guess I have that shiny penny syndrome which is, if I see it flying a bird and I see a rabbit, I’m going to want to go. What’s that? So I keep my blinders on so that I can focus. It’s a great thing to know about ourselves, because maybe our audience doesn’t know that
when they’re actually trying to be productive or are being productive and wonder what’s happening? Why is it not flowing? Why, why am I stopping? Why am I having writers? Block? I think, knowing this about ourselves really helps? And then let’s talk about our productivity.
What happens to you when you are right on rolling and doing everything exactly the way you expect it to be. But what’s that like?
Yeah, if I’m doing everything the way I expect it to be, and the way it’s scheduled to go, then I feel good. I feel energized. I feel motivated
to keep going right. And it’s like
it’s kind of like that train, you know, like the train. It takes so long to get up to that fast pace right? And so then, when it stops at a stop. It takes so long to get up to that fast pace again, right? And so that’s the same thing with me. It’s like, if I stop, or, if I
like you said, get distracted on something, and I don’t stick to what I had planned, and in my schedule and in my timeline of what I want to do.
Then I’m like.
then it like throws everything else off, and I have to work 10 times as hard to get back on track
to get back going, and sometimes that takes a while to make yourself get
back to where you belong. Right? It’s like when you’re in the gym, and then something stops you, and you got to get started again. Well, what happens? I’ll talk about this. So today I have my schedule like it always is right to the T. And then last minute someone asked, could I change? And could they change an appointment with me?
Of course, absolutely. And I went and I moved on to something else which was personal. So I now had a chunk of time that became personal time, and I went, and I spent time with my family, and I really wanted to schedule that. But it just didn’t work out originally, and I don’t change appointments, as neither do you. I know that. So I thought, Okay, you know it won’t work, or I’ll try to make it work later.
When that opportunity came up, I went to the next thing on my personal list, which was truly a top priority. But I just didn’t want to move my business plan around. So when it happened, off I went I pivoted immediately
to a personal moment that gave me true joy and happiness. but as that happened, the appointment called me back and said, Okay, I’m ready. But I’d already pivoted.
So now I was where I had gone with no car, no way to
change that. So when we talk about focus, it’s interesting, right? Because when we can make a move and we do, it’s not always easy to turn around and make that move back. You sort of like you’ve got the momentum going, and I had to play it out like that was, that was just the way it had to go. Of course there was a clear understanding, and there was. It was great, and I explained where I was and what I was doing.
But I don’t have the type of schedule. I have the force in my schedule that when I’m going I’m going strong. and then, if I do pivot, I have the same amount of momentum.
so I really don’t have the ability to put the brakes on and then change everything again. I find that hard to do
right. Yeah. And and I mean people have to understand that, too. Right? Like, if you
yeah, we understand that
you have to be flexible to a point, right? Things are going to come up in people’s lives, and even though yes, you always try to stay on schedule and make all your appointments and be on time. Be early, if possible, right? But
but things do come up. And and yeah, like you said, I mean, I I do the same. It’s like, if somebody cancels
something else is going in that spot. And usually it’s something personal cause, exactly that because we’re like throwing that in. And
and we’re always wanting to enrich our personal life and relationships and things anyway, right? And so that opportunity arises. Yeah, definitely, we move things to
get that in there. And yeah, we’re not. Gonna and even though it is personal.
we’re not gonna drop it at the drop of a hat for a client, because our personal life and our personal relationships are the most important, anyway, because that’s the whole reason that we’re doing our business is to support that right.
5 of my 7 grandchildren. Hmm! Dropped off with no car immersed in what I was doing.
I thought it was a gift. I actually thanked them for giving me the opportunity to have that gift, and they said, enjoy it. Of course it’s beautiful, and and I I needed to say exactly where I was. You know I didn’t want to say no, I can’t, I said. This is exactly where I am. As a result of that change I went right into. I’m sitting with my grandchildren, and there is just no way. I don’t even think if I try to get up, and I wouldn’t.
that they would have been tears on all of our parts right? So when those things come up. What’s really nice is that we have a list of things to do, and we have priorities. A walk with our husband is dip in the pool, go, visit the grandkids, go and do something personal for ourselves. That was like just we couldn’t fit it in, and I love having the ability to do that. And as an entrepreneur, sometimes people don’t understand that when they have Jbs.
things come up that you can suddenly do, because life happens to our an ambassador clients around us, and we just get to step in like suddenly. I’m there, you know. I’m there at the store, or I’m there at that T. Or I’m there at that lunch when.
3 weeks ago, I said, you know absolutely I can’t be there. My regrets so the nice thing about entrepreneurship is if we can embrace the change that happens and be ready and prepared. We’re not left like twiddling our thumbs, thinking, oh, no! What was me an appointment moved or canceled. Now, what am I supposed to do
right? We really need to look at our schedules and and fill our schedules with money making and enriching activities. So for me today, it was the gift to enrich my personal life. I feel so blessed that that happened
right? Yeah, absolutely. And that, and that’s it. And it’s like, like, we always say, things are never coincidences right? They always happen for a reason. There’s a reason for everything, and just like you when you and I met right?
And so we have to
fall into that and lead from that space right? And figure out what is the best thing for us at that time, and at that moment, and
you picked it perfect. And what better time is that right
into lemonade or a situation that might have been upsetting because it just didn’t go the way we wanted it? And does that mean that the day is now going to turn. I I would hope that we could look at the situations of things that happen around us, and embrace them, and enrich our lives with the opportunity to find the good in all of it. If we look at the rose colored glasses, and we
really find what the meaning and the message is, it was meant to be right. It’s really meant to be so. I I hope that our clients and our guests and our audience can find that in their day. If specially if something happened today, or maybe it’s gonna happen tomorrow and you’re gonna maybe take a pivot down, I would invite everyone to pivot up
and find the gratitude as we do when we’re writing our Gratitude journal. So I have a lot of respect for the person that can take the truth
about the situation, because we have to be able to be very honest about what’s happening. And when you can build that relationship with your client, and they can build it with us. That’s solid, you know, those are relationships that don’t happen overnight. So I’m I’m really grateful for that. And and hopefully, our audience will be working to build their honest relationship with their coaches and their business associates. Because we’re blessed that we focus on that.
Yes, exactly. So tell us, what is your focus like? What are you focusing on? Tell us below in the comments, private message, us go to gratitude, girls.com. How do you stick to your commitments?
Hey, everyone we are the gratitude, girls!
Time is flying as we feel like time is flying. This is a great topic that we’re going to talk about tonight.
and it it comes into play every single day in all aspects of our life, personal business
in fun. So I’ll quickly introduce myself to our audience. My name is Kathryn Asaro Mayers, and I am affectionately known as Barbara is in the house I broadcasting to live tonight from Toronto. I’m not in my usual Niagara on the lake set. I’m in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and I’m here with my amazing gratitude. Girls, partner, you look great tonight, Laurie.
Thank you. I am Laurie Delk Radecki. I am in Smyrna, Tennessee.
We’re just moving around. Well, the topic for tonight is, how do you stick to your commitment. Well, we made a commitment to be the traveling gratitude, girls. in 2,013.
We we are. We stuck to that commitment, we said, we want to be traveling, traveling the world. And that was how we basically started
by saying, we are going to stick to this decision. And then it. Blue had a like I don’t want to say add a proportion, but it just blew up into everything. We decided to stick to everything. We just don’t quit. You know we are not those people. We say it, we do it, we follow it through, we see it all the way, and then we recreate it
for our audience. Who’s watching tonight? I know we can talk about this forever, but if we do this for 5 or 6 min, maybe we can talk about commitment in our business and our personal, and give some examples and see if that resonates with our audience. What do you think?
Yeah, absolutely.
I know that you made a an amazing accomplishment recently. So I’d like to congratulate you, and maybe you want to talk about that in business rank, advancing and promoting and having a big team. And yet another network marketing company.
Yes, yeah. I joined another company, and I didn’t have any plans to. And but it just happened. It ended up being a issue that I had in bed for over a month, and so I won’t go into that whole story but products that helped me. I decided I had to share them, and so I didn’t plan to. But I did. And here we are, and I have hit every promotion and received every bonus that the company is offered so far, and I’ve been promoted 4 times now in 8 months.
It doesn’t surprise me, and that’s a decision you made when you joined. You didn’t decide. Well, let me stick my toe in it and let me see what happens with that you joined because you had a core purpose, it or it it resonated with your core values what I should say. And then you had a purpose, and you went through with it. That’s the way to make a decision and create success.
I can relate to that with when we saw each other on April fifteenth which was my birthday big birthday. Thank you.
At that moment I decided that I was going to take exercise to a new level. and let’s call it 6. It’s not quite 60 days, but today’s the eleventh. So in a few days it will be 60 days. Give or take. In 60 days I have decided to go from reform of Pilates to Yoga to different cardio type movements in 2 different studios, one in Toronto and one Niagara on the lake.
I take 7 to 10 classes a week, because after I do one a day in person, I either take a second in person or online. That’s a decision you make. You turn a switch on that. That’s not well, let me see, let me check it out. The transformation that I have received and still am receiving is how I feel.
how I look as a by product. I feel so strong that I am accepting greater challenges when I look at something. I no longer think that gonna hurt. I look and say.
how long will it take me to accomplish that? So these decisions of commitments? And I I used to be in the gym business, so I used to own my own health clinic. I used to be in my
all kinds of patients and clients for 18 h a day. So to get into a gym or yoga studio or Pilate studio for 1 h is almost like a sneeze for me, because I’m in and out in an hour, and I’m thinking, what about the rest of the day? So I try to go for the second, you know the second hour
in creating that commitment that we both share, and these only 2 subjects we’re talking about, you feel something right. You feel
that you can do it even before you’ve done it. You envision it. I’m sure you have your. I am statements. I see myself.
I don’t want to row white water rafting. But I have these images of myself doing these things. thinking I can do it if I choose to.
Now, rowing would be a really difficult sport for me.
but yet I envision myself being able to row, and with that I imagine what my shoulders and my arms are going to look like.
And what were you envisioning when you were building this team? And you decided that this was what you were going to go for?
Yeah. Well, I was envisioning. I started envisioning what
I’ve built the last 20 years in another company, and you know, being the you know, top 10 of the company and having a team and thousands of people, you know, working together and recreating that I just realized that it was just going to be.
kind of kind of like, you know, my kids, dad? That passed away and then, now I’m with Kevin. So it’s kind of like my next chapter. This is like my next chapter in network marketing right? And so I still use the product of my other company all the time every single day.
and I don’t envision ever stopping that. But
this is a perfect thing to do also, and there’s no competition. So it doesn’t matter. And but
the same thing. It was something it came into my life for a reason, and just like when you and I met we said, You know, don’t believe in coincidences. There’s always a reason for it, and so, you know.
preferably I wouldn’t have been in bed for a month in pain for that reason. But that’s what happened. And so. But I believe that there’s a reason for it, and you know, and maybe that’s it. Maybe it’s because I need to help thousands more people in this new company, you know.
but regardless, it’s helped me, and I know that It’s there’s there’s more reasons besides just the things that come up upfront
right? And so we always have to look at those reasons. And then we have to figure out like you said that commitment, you know. So the commitment to
stay with a company, the commitment to push and excel is and and just like in our marriage, the commitment to
stick right the sticktoititiveness of that word right? And there are times I’m sure you felt it. I can related to exercise where I just feel like, maybe today I can
just take a different turn. But if I let that happen, if I decide to let time or money, or lack of time or lack of structure get in the way, I will not be moving forward. I will be standing still, and I have yet to see anyone succeed by standing still. I’m either creating the vision or I’m making excuses.
and I have a very low tolerance, as you do for excuses. I’m either doing it or I’m not the reasons why I make no difference. It’s yes or no I am or I’m not. If I’m not. All the excuses in the world don’t make any difference right. So when you turn that switch on for somebody who’s building a company, there’s no
tolerance for excuses. If you’re going to transform your body, you’re not going to say, well, you know, today is probably better for me. You take the push. You take the challenge, you, you know, like Siri, or your GPS tells you. Take the turn like you do it. You go for it. If not, you missed it.
I think it’s really important for me to get this message. There are days that I may not want to get up at 50’clock. Not many. I enjoy doing that, and leave the house at 5 20 to be in my studio.
but I do it when I get there. And there are 20 other people in the same class, I think. What was I thinking these people have the same commitment as I do when you’re building a team we are not alone unless we choose to stay in a room, stay on our phone or our zoom and not talk to anyone else. That’s when you’re alone.
But you are not alone when you get out there and you swim amongst
the winners right, absolutely. And you can do that in every
part of your life. And that’s the biggest thing like we talked about in our businesses in health and exercise, in your eating and your your spouse, your relationship, your partner, and your
Bible reading, or in your motivational reading or your personal development. Readingevery single aspect of your life, you can decide.
What level of commitment
do you want to take in this area?
I love that. And on that note. If anyone has any questions about how to push through it, or how to glide through it, how to have it feel natural and not unnatural, there’s a day where you get to the smooth part. It happens we’re we’re experiencing it. It starts to feel fine and you feel happy. Just give us give us a call. Maybe, Laura, you want to get some of the details on how we can be reached, and how we can dive into this with some of our clients.

Gratitude And Team Building 5-8-23
Good evening, everyone. We are the gratitude, girls, the gratitude! Girls are in the house. Hello, Laurie! How are you. Hey, Kathryn?
Let’s start with. I’m so glad and grateful to be here. That’s first and foremost for those of you who are watching for the first time we’ll introduce ourselves. My name is Kathryn Asaro Mayers and am affectionately known as Ra Ra’s in the house broadcasting to live tonight from lovely Niagara on the Lake Ontario, Canada and I’m here with my awesome partner, Laurie, who’s taking care of the tech right now. Laurie, you have a minute to talk while you’re doing that.
Yes, and I am Laurie Delk, Radecki and I am outside of Nashville, Tennessee
We’re gonna talk to you about gratitude because this is what we are. What we do. What we embody. We embody gratitude, and lately we’ve been touching on the subject. This is a free coaching and training call that we do. Every week we’re going to talk to you about teams because we know about that. We we built teams. We are a team. Laurie and I are a team, and that could be as far as your team goes. And that’s a huge thing for us.
We are global team. And then amongst that team we have other team members, and some people would say, like family team family members depends on how close your team is If it’s new. Maybe it doesn’t feel like a family yet maybe it does. So we’re going to talk to you about today is, how do weave gratitude that’s in your heart That’s in your actions into your business of team building.
It’s really important to let people in your know how you feel, and if you’re grateful for them and you tell them
they’ll be extremely happy, and if you neglect to tell them. they may not know, because you didn’t say anything.
So today we’ll talk a little bit about that. So, Laurie. Let’s let’s talk about like I’m not shy to say i’m grateful. It’s very easy and natural for me to be communicative. My love language is probably communication for me. It would be unnatural not to say how I feel, and I don’t mean just say how I feel, no matter what, but to express myself. So how do you feel about telling your team, our team, and all the other people in our lives that you’re grateful for them?
Yeah, I think it. I think it’s hugely important, right? I mean one. Your team, If you’re building a network marketing business, you’re getting a check right because of your team. So if you’re grateful for that money, then you should be grateful for the team right because you don’t get that money without you right. There’s like they say there’s no I in team, right? So they are helping you. Whether they came on. And they’re bringing in other referrals. They’re bringing on other customers. They’re even just spending their own money each month.
They’re helping you get a check right and not to mention just being grateful for that team camaraderie like like Kathryn and I met in network marketing right because of network marketing. And so and she’s one of my very bestest, closest friends in the world.
And so you know all and realistically, almost all my friends that I have nowadays are from. Of course I’ve been in network marketing for over 30 years, too. But that’s it. So like that camaraderie that you get from your team, and with your team and your business partners, and the friendships that you create. I mean you just You can’t put a price on that.
No, you right, and you’re my bestest friend, because we thank you for saying that, and you are mine. We talk to each other about everything, so think about. If you talk to your team and you hear what they have to say, and you listen to them and you put them first. I know this is gonna sound difficult, but put your team first. It’s not about me how I feel me! What’s happening to me? Me? What kind of day am I having? It’s really not when you’re leading a team, it’s about your team. It’s giving your team the same space that someone gave you when you were starting and developing.
So if you put others first, if you’re grateful for them. If you share how you feel if you listen to how they feel you actually have a dialogue. and when you have a dialogue you get to hear what’s going on, do you ever watch someone totally clam up and not say anything? It’s a little bit hard to really work with that. So when you have a good team, you don’t have to be shy to say. You know what’s happening. I’m here. I’m here to listen.
I’m grateful for you, whatever kind of day you’re having. Let’s talk about it.
Think about that person that could make such a huge difference. Imagine if Laurie and I didn’t touch hands on the way down the staircase didn’t look at each other, and didn’t say anything or what we said to each other. We wouldn’t be here today if we didn’t reach out in kindness to one another that would have been catastrophic in my life not to have you in my life, and what we do together. That moment changed everything for us.
When you’re building a team you change the lives of people, and it’s about them. It’s really not about us as hard as that may seem to do
right. Yeah. And and and think about that, too, I think like what’s what it what’s in it for me. FM: right? What’s in it for me? Radio station right? And so. But think about that for them like that’s it. They want to know what’s in it for them.
And so and when you are a leader of a team, you need to be looking at what’s in it for your team doing things for your team, you know, for me. With my team I am constantly doing all different things. I’m sending my team gifts, i’m sending. You know I have a spinner thing, and we do contest all the time in my team, and I offer different things that I win the different things that I buy, and different things that I do and like. This month. This last month I sent out 3 of our gratitude girls journals to different team members so they could learn how to do the gratitude in their lives. And if you teach that to people and they really get that then they are going to be so much better team member, anyway, because they are attracting more things in their life to be grateful and thankful for.
And so the more that you focus on that writing that 3 to 5 things down, specific and in detail every day. What happened that day. then? God, the universe, whatever brings more things to you for you to be grateful and thankful for each and every day. So if you want your team to grow and you want your team to do better then you teach them this gratitude concept.
SHe said so many wonderful things there, and one of the things I want to say is, you teach your team. You don’t do it for them. You teach them how to do it. If you’re a leader and you’re doing it for your team, you’re not growing your team If your team is learning, do you want to give someone a fish or teach them how to fish? If you teach them how to make their calls, place their sales, speak to their prospects, teach them how to set up a call a 3 way, call, hop on a webinar, teach them how to do it.
don’t mother them to do it. don’t be their wife or their husband. but teach them what to do, and teach them what Laurie just said, how grateful you are! Set the example, because if you find yourself in your team being the one that’s doing all the picking up the loose ends, Laurie. We don’t do this for our team.
We can still be the leadership, the foundation we do for ourselves, and we show and share by example.
We don’t do those little things that don’t really help someone? What will help someone? As if they understand on a bad day where to find the gratitude? Where to write down those 3 things in detail, what they’re grateful and thankful for, to read it at night, and then read it the next morning because when you have a bad day. If you pick up your gratitude Journal, you tell me how you feel. Can you still have a bad day?
You just saved yourself a whole lot of time sitting in some uncomfortable space.
When you read we read it in cards, we read it in journals. We read our book, we write in our book. This saves us all that time, just in case we were thinking of having that kind of day. So if your team were to write 3 things they were grateful and thankful for in our journal, or we’d love it in our journal right anywhere.
But if you did do that and that took 15 min a day.
You know. How long does it task? Take 20 min. 30 min. You want to do the task for 40 min. It’s up to you. It depends on how many things you want to do when you go back, and you reflect on how you spent your time and if it lifts you up then it was probably a good investment in time.
Right? Yes, so absolutely and so. Think about that, and think about the more that you do that you spend that time writing down the things that you’re grateful and thankful for. And then because, like Kathryn, said, those bad days, those bad moments they’re going to come.
Everybody has them. It doesn’t matter what color you are. It doesn’t matter what race you are, it doesn’t matter what financial status you are. It doesn’t matter anything. You’re gonna have some bad days. And when those come, if you reflect back on your Gratitude Journal. During that time it helps you to. It might not fix the situation immediately, but it helps you to lift your spirits because you get back into that vibration, that feeling, that thought of all those wonderful things, and a lot of times we quickly. So you know, we just as humans, we are so quick to forget all the wonderful things in our life, right?
And so when you reread those because you have them wrote down, you have them in black and white, you know. Then it just can quickly bring back to memory. Wow! Maybe my life’s not so bad, after all. Maybe my world isn’t so bad, after all, and maybe it can get better again, and you can lift your own spirits that way.
